Terms of Service

The service

Subscription Guru lets you keep watchlists of films and shows, discover new titles, and plan which streaming subscriptions to hold and when. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, don't use the service.

Subscription Guru is a planning tool. It is not affiliated with any streaming service, and it does not host, stream, or sell any film or show. Availability data and prices can lag or be wrong; double-check with the streaming service before relying on a plan.

Your account

You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account and are responsible for activity that happens under your session. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age to consent to an online service where you live). We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or abuse the service.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the service; don't scrape it at volume; don't use it to harass anyone (including via list names, shared lists, or invitations); and don't use it for anything unlawful.

Your content

Your watchlists, progress, and settings remain yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store and display them to you and to people you explicitly share a list with. If you share a list or send an invite, the people you shared with can see that list's contents and your display name.

Third-party data

Title metadata, artwork, and streaming availability come from third-party catalogs. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Metadata is also provided by TheTVDB. That content belongs to its respective owners and may not be extracted from the service for other uses.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including subscription costs incurred or missed savings from relying on a generated plan. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the service (currently nothing).

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate the service or your access to it, with reasonable notice where practical.

Changes, governing law, contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: [email protected].
